Netflix’s ‘Squid Game’ has won six Emmys.
Lee Jung-jae has scored a trophy for best lead actor in a drama series for his role in the `Korean dystopian drama, becoming the first Asian man to win the award and the first to win it for a non-English-speaking role.
The series’ creator Hwang Dong-hyuk grabbed an award for outstanding directing for a drama series.
‘The White Lotus’ grabbed six awards, followed by ‘Ted Lasso’ and ‘Succession’ with four and three, respectively.
Zendaya won the Outstanding Lead Actress award for the second time for her role in HBO’s ‘Euphoria.’
Standout winners include Lizzo, Quinta Brunson, Amanda Seyfried, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Jennifer Coolidge.
The series also won for best directing and three other technical categories. Here are the full list of winners:
