SM Entertainment To Hold Auditions In UAE

SM Entertainment has announced it will be holding its ‘2023 SM Global Audition’ in the UAE.

It’s the only country in the Middle East the Korean behemoth is holding its large-scale global audition this year. Other countries include Japan, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, and Vietnam.

Candidates born between 2004 and 2012 are only eligible and can apply as a vocalist, dancer, rapper or actor.

SM will hold auditions in South Korea, starting with Seoul on January 28, before heading to Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, and Daejeon.

Audition dates in the UAE have not been disclosed yet.

Successful applicants will get the opportunity to train or sign a contract with SM, home to top-billed K-pop stars such as BoA, SHINee, EXO, Red Velvet, and NCT.

Online pre-registration started on January 11.
