Lisa, known as one-fourth of the world’s biggest girl group BLACKPINK, launched her own artist management company, called LLOUD.
Management company
The K-pop star announced on Instagram that her new venture is a platform through which she will be able to showcase her vision for music and entertainment, asking fans to join her journey “to push through new boundaries together.”
“At LLOUD, our passion as an artist management company is to create experiences that transcend genres and connect generations. Our core lies in relentless innovation and a commitment to authenticity. We’re not just pushing boundaries; we’re redefining them, crafting chart-topping and genre-defying music,” LLOUD said on its official website.
BLACKPINK contract, solo careers
Lisa is the second BLACKPINK member to announce and establish an agency following Jennie. The latter announced in late December new label called Odd ATELIER (AO) for solo activities. According to a media report in early January, Jisoo will team up with her older brother, who is the CEO of the infant health food company Biomom, to oversee her activities. As for bandmate Rosé, she is still yet to announce any potential solo ventures.
YG Entertainment’s contract with the quartet expired last year. In early December, YG Entertainment revealed that the four members had renewed their contracts for group activities, but for solo activities, after months of speculation.
Acting debut
Lisa is set to star in the third season of ‘The White Lotus,’ making her the second BLACKPINK member to star in an HBO series after Jennie.
She will be credited under her given name, Lalisa Manobal, though her role is being kept under wraps.
‘The White Lotus’ is set to begin production in and around Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok, Thailand, in February.
Lisa’s career
Lisa debuted as a member of BLACKPINK in 2016 under YG Entertainment. Apart from her group activities, the Thai singer-rapper broke records as a soloist; she was the first to surpass a billion Spotify streams; her debut single ‘Lalisa’ took No. 1 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart, and she was the first female K-pop solo artist to win ‘Best K-pop Artist’ at the 2022 MTV Music Video Awards and 2022 Europe Music Awards.
