Korean hip-hop festival scheduled for this Friday at the Agenda Arena has been postponed due to the recent flooding in the UAE.
“Due to the recent flooding in Dubai and other emirates impacting local transportation routes, we have made the tough decision to postpone ‘Let It Rain’ until further notice,” the statement read. “Your safety and experience are our top priorities.”
The event is yet to announce a new date.
‘Let it Rain ‘Vol.1 K-DXB HIPHOP’ was set to feature a fusion of K-hip-hop and the UAE’s hip-hop scene.
Korean artists BewhY, Skyminhyuk, Mac Kidd, Queen WA$ABII, and DJ Wheel Bug were scheduled to take the stage, marking their first ever performance in the country.
Also Dubai-based rappers Tayeb Santo and Maxizee were also part of the lineup.
