Dispatch broke the news that actor Lee Min-ho and former Momoland member Yeonwoo have been dating for five months.
The Korean media outlet reported that Lee, 34, picked up the K-Pop star, 25, to watch a late-night movie at the COEX Megabox and went for a drive, adding that his acquaintance said that the pair bonded over similar hobbies, like playing video games and watching movies.
But the question on everyone mind is, are they actually dating?
Lee’s agency MYM Entertainment disclosed news outlet Newsen that the two are “just acquaintances and not dating,”, clarifying that they watched the movie with a group of friends.
Yeonwoo’s agency MLD Entertainment shared that the pair have “a close senior-junior relationship.”
Considered one of the top Hallyu stars, Lee rose to stardom in 2009 after appearing in the hit drama “Boys Over Flowers,” earning him the “Best New Actor “award at the 45th Baeksang Arts Awards. He garnered a massive fanbase for his notable roles in several series such as The Heirs (2013) and The Legend of the Blue Seas (2016), and The King: Eternal Monarch (2020).
In 2019, the South Korean actor was appointed as the foundation’s public relations ambassador and has been promoting the Korean language and the charms of Korean culture ever since.
Yeonwoo debuted as a member of Momoland after being named one of the winners of the survival reality program, “Finding Momoland”. In late 2019, she, parted ways with the K-Pop girl group to focus on her acting career. She has acted in TV dramas, including Pegasus Market (2019), Touch (2020), and Cheat on Me If You Can (2020).
