South Korean actors Park Shin-Hye and Park Hyung-Sik star in Dubai Tourism’s global video campaign.
The campaign titled ‘Dubai, Who’s Ready’ showcases the city’s various landmarks and cultural sites, such as Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood and Atlantis The Royal, through the stars’ experiences.
“Everywhere I went, from the desert and Palm Jumeirah to Al Seef, the Dubai Fountain Show, and Burj Khalifa, there was so much to see and do. My time in Dubai was incredibly enjoyable, and it’s such an attractive place that I definitely want to visit again,” the actress said in a statement. “I hope those who watch the video are inspired to travel to Dubai and create their own unique experiences and cherished memories.”
Hyung-sik added: “My time in Dubai felt like a dream. I was captivated by the towering buildings that glimmered from day to night. The clear skies and the sunset over the endless sea are memories I won’t soon forget. I’m happy and grateful to have experienced the many charms of Dubai.”
The ‘Doctor Slump’ actors were spotted filming for the campaign in April. The duo join EXO’s SUHO who was also part of the Visit Dubai campaign video in 2022.
‘Doctor Slump’ is centered around two high school academic rivals who reunite by chance after 14 years, and unexpectedly find solace in each other.
Released on January 27, the series debuted atop Netflix’s weekly chart for non-English TV series during the January 29-February 4 period, garnering 2.9 million total views. It was in the top 10 in TV in 31 countries, including Egypt, Morocco, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
