Lisa, the lead rapper and main dancer of K-pop group BLACKPINK, released her highly anticipated first full-length solo album, ‘Alter Ego’ and the official music video for ‘FXCK UP THE WORLD (Vixi Solo Version).’

Released on February 28, ‘Alter Ego’ is a conceptually rich album where the 27-year-old artist explores five distinct alter egos: Roxi, Sunni, Kiki, Speedi, and Vixi. Each persona showcases a different facet of her artistry, allowing for experimentation with various musical styles and narratives.
The album consists of 15 tracks, featuring collaborations with prominent artists like Doja Cat, Raye, Rosalía, Future, Megan Thee Stallion, and Tyla. These partnerships blend genres such as hip-hop, electropop, and trap, adding diverse flavors to the project.
The album was preceded by four singles: ‘Rockstar,’ ‘New Woman’ featuring Rosalía, ‘Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me),’ and ‘Born Again’ featuring Doja Cat & Raye.

The album’s release on February 28 coincided with the airing of the third season of HBO’s The White Lotus, where the Thai star made her acting debut. It also marks a new chapter in her career, being her first release since launching her own management company, LLOUD.

Regionally, ‘Alter Ego’ debuted at the top of the iTunes Top Albums chart in Saudi Arabia and second in the UAE on the day of its release on the platform. The album’s songs also dominated the Songs chart in Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Qatar, solidifying its success across the region.
The ‘FXCK UP THE WORLD (Vixi Solo Version)’ debuted as the 51st most popular music video in Saudi Arabia and the 65th in the UAE on March 3. The music video achieved the highest debut in Saudi Arabia on YouTube and the second-highest in the UAE.
What’s next for Lisa?
Lisa is set to become the first K-pop artist to perform at the Oscars on March 2.
She is also scheduled to take the stage at Coachella in April and is gearing up for BLACKPINK activities.
Additionally, Lisa launched Lalisa Comics in partnership with Zero Zero Entertainment, with the first release being ‘ALTER-EGO: THE OFFICIAL COMIC,’ a 56-page graphic novel illustrated by MINOMIYABI, set for release on March 24, 2025.
