BTS and Coldplay will release a collaboration track on September 24.
The British rock band confirmed rumors that had been circulating since July about a potential collaboration by dropping a teaser image for their upcoming bilingual single, titled ‘My Universe’.
The single was written by the two bands and produced by Swedish record producer Max Martin, according to Warner Music Korea, and will be part of Coldplay’s ninth album “‘Music of the Spheres’ to be released on October 15.
Earlier this month, BTS joined Coldplay frontman Chris Martin for a conversation on the #PermissiontoDance Challenge on YouTube Shorts, and their experience as global musicians.
The announcement comes after BTS bagged awards at 2021 MTV VMAs: Group of the Year, Song of the Summer (Butter) and Best K-pop (Butter).
