WONWOO of boy band SEVENTEEN will begin his military service on April 3, his agency PLEDIS Entertainment has confirmed.
Enlistment, schedule
As a result, the 28-year-old will miss SEVENTEEN’s participation in Tecate Pa’l Norte 2025 and the fan meet tour in Japan scheduled for next month. However, the agency reassured fans that Wonwoo will attend ‘SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND’ concert on March 20-21.
“There will be no official event on the day of his enlistment, and we kindly request that you refrain from visiting the site of his alternative military service,” Pledis Entertainment said in a statement. “We ask for your continued love and support for the artist until his safe and healthy return. We will also stay committed to providing WONWOO with all the necessary support during this time.”
WONWOO will be the second member of the 13-member group to enlist, following JEONGHAN, who started his service in September 2024.
