Korean action drama ‘Weak Hero Class 2’ debuted atop Netflix’s non-English TV list, garnering 6.1 million views within three days of its release. Views are calculated by dividing total watch hours by runtime.

The strong performance was built on the momentum of its predecessor, propelling the series to the top spot, according to the streaming platform.
Released on April 25, the school violence drama series took the lead on Netflix’s TV ranking in nine countries—including Saudi Arabia and Oman—during the April 21–27, 2025 viewing window.
‘Weak Hero Class 2’ made the top 10 list in 63 countries, including Egypt, Morocco, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar, and the UAE.

The show’s first season, ‘Weak Hero Class 1′ ranked eighth place in the same global category, spending five consecutive weeks in the top 10 chart since being added on Netflix. During the week, it amassed 1.9 million views and charted in 17 countries, including Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.
Also ranking on Netflix’s weekly non-English series chart were five other Korean releases: ‘Heavenly Ever After’ at No. 5, ‘Resident Playbook’ at No. 6, ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines’ at No. 7, and ‘The Haunted Palace’ at No. 9.
About ‘Weak Hero Class 2’
Based on the popular webtoon series of the same name, ‘Weak Hero Class 2’ follows protagonist Yeon Si-eun, played by Park Ji-hoon, as he begins a new chapter at a different school while confronting the lingering effects of his traumatic past.
The cast includes Ryeo Un, Choi Min-yeong, Yu Su-bin, and Lee Jun-young.
