Rumors linking BlackPink’s Jisoo and soccer player Son Heung Min resurfaced on online communities after they flew into South Korea from France on the same day on October 5.
However, YG Entertainment said in a statement Sunday the rumors are “groundless and not true.”
“As the rumors are spreading even overseas, we have become concerned that the artist may suffer damages due to the situation. So we would like to correct the misinformation,” the K-Pop star’s agency said, as per newspaper Korea JoongAng Daily.
Rumors of the pair dating started in September 2019, when the BlackPink member went to watch one of his games in England as a forward for Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur., with some observers allegedly saying that they were wearing matching bracelets.
Jisoo, whose real name is Kim Ji-soo, was in Paris to attend the Dior Womenswear Spring/Summer 2022 show during Paris Fashion Week.
