Baekhyun, the lead singer of K-Pop boy group EXO, released his first solo Japanese EP, titled ‘BAEKHYUN’ on Wednesday. And it was a hit in the UAE!
His debut Japanese musical offering climbed to the top spot on the iTunes all-genre, K-Pop and pop albums chart.
The lead track ‘Get You Alone’, which was first performed during his first solo concert on January 3 and pre-released the following day, landed seventh on the iTunes songs chart, while dominating the K-Pop and pop songs chart in the UAE.

Baekhyun launched a solo career with “City Lights’ in 2019. His local fanbase managed to get the seductive lead track ‘UN Village’ and EP to the top of the UAE iTunes chart for two consecutive days.
The July release was followed by his sweet solo return with million-seller second EP ‘Delight’ and the title track ‘Candy’ last year.
Following the release of ‘Amusement Park’ in December, Baekhyun held his first online concert titled ‘Beyond LIVE’ earlier this month, garnering 110,000 viewers from 120 countries, according to the agency.
He lent his vocals in upcoming song ‘Runner’, which is set to release on January 26, alongside Raiden and Changmo.
