EXO member Suho’s Dubai and Europe stops off of his tour have been canceled due to “insufficient preparations by the local promoter.”
Concert organizer Applewood revealed the decision to ensure the safety of the artist and the fans and maintain the concert’s quality.
The K-pop star and lead vocalist of the prominent boy band EXO was originally scheduled to perform in Dubai on September 20th at The Agenda. He was also set to perform in London, Paris, Düsseldorf, Berlin, and Warsaw from September 10.
This would have marked the multifaceted entertainer’s third time in the emirate; he performed alongside his bandmates at ‘SMTown Live World Tour VI in Dubai’ in front of 15,000 concertgoers and flew over to Dubai to watch their popular song ‘Power’ choreographed at The Dubai Fountain in 2018.
Suho’s new song ‘Hurdle’ was featured on the laser and light show ‘Imagine’ at DFC followed by a special message by the member himself on May 28, making him the second EXO member, right after Baekhyun, in 2019.
Suho — who was born Kim Jun-myeon — is widely recognized as a member and leader of EXO since 2012 under SM Entertainment, one of South Korea’s biggest listed K-pop label. He debuted as a soloist with mini album ‘Self-Portrait’ in 2020, making him the fourth EXO band member — after Baekhyun, Chen, and Lay — to release solo music outside his group activities. The 30-year-old singer was discharged in February after fulfilling his mandatory military duty.
