Park Bo-gum has signed an exclusive contract with The Black Label, an affiliate of Korean conglomerate YG Entertainment.
New start
“We have signed a management deal with Park Bo-gum,” the agency said, according to Korea Joongang Daily. “We promise to support him to the fullest so that he may fulfill his talents as a versatile and attractive actor.”
He joins a roster of artists such as BIGBANG’s Taeyang, Jeon Somi, and Zion.T under the label established in 2016 by renowned music producer Teddy Park.
The versatile South Korean actor was previously signed with Blossom Entertainment in 2012 when the company was first founded.
Music career?
Park has showcased his musical talent by releasing a solo album and singing for TV drama soundtracks. So, it’s unclear whether he will also be expanding his singing career under the newly-signed label.
He made his acting debut in 2011 in the thriller film ‘Blind.’ He has taken major roles in various dramas and films, including ‘Love in the Moonlight,’ Reply 1988,’ and ‘Record of Youth.’
He actor was recently confirmed to star alongside IU in a new drama, written by Im Sang Choon who is known for her work in series ‘Fight for My Way’ and ‘When the Camellia Blooms.’
