Actors Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin are officially dating!
The co-stars from the massive TV series ‘Crash Landing On You’ (2019-20) revealed to have been together for eight months.
On January 1, South Korean media outlet Dispatch reported that the pair had been dating since their drama ended in March, a month after the conclusion of the TV show. Both actors’ agencies went on to confirm their romantic relationship following the report circulated online.
“The two have become intimate as co-stars and have developed such intimacy into a romantic one as lovers after the series concluded,” said VAST Entertainment, the management of Hyun Bin, whose real name is Kim Tae-pyung, in a statement, as per Yonhap News Agency.
The actors, both 38 years old, had repeatedly denied dating rumors after they co-starred in the 2018 crime thriller film ‘The Negotiation’. It seems their romance grew after filming the hit series last year.
‘Crash Landing On You’ was one of the most-watched Korean series on Netflix in the UAE last year.
Part of the hit 16-episode romance drama’s success is reportedly credited to its realistic and well-researched portrayal of North Korea. The finale of ‘Crash Landing On You’ was recorded the highest viewership rate for a tvN drama, making it the cable channel’s highest-rated drama to date, according to Nielsen Korea.
