Karina, a member of the girl group aespa, has apologized to fans for surprising them with news of her relationship with actor Lee Jae-wook.

The K-pop star posted a handwritten apology to her 12.7 million Instagram followers, acknowledging the surprise and expressing remorse for any potential hurt her actions may have caused to her fans.
“I know many of MY must be disappointed,” she wrote. “I wanted to apologize sincerely to the fans who have given me the warmest support since my debut.”
Dispatch, an online entertainment news outlet, reported last Tuesday the couple’s romantic relationship. Both Lee and Karina’s agencies confirmed the report on the same day, confirming they are in the early stages of dating. They reportedly started dating right after meeting at a Prada fashion show in Milan last month.
Some outraged fans reportedly sent a truck with an electronic billboard to the headquarters of Karina’s agency, SM Entertainment, that read. “Do you not get enough love from your fans?” it read. “Why did you choose to betray your fans?”
Future activities
aespa is scheduled to release their first full-length album in the second quarter of this year. Lee, who is known for his lead role in ‘Alchemy of Souls,’ is starring in the Disney+ original series ‘The Impossible Heir.’
