All six members of MOMOLAND have decided to part ways with agency MLD Entertainment after their contract expiration.
Contract expiration
The Korean agency thanked the girl group for its time at the company and asked fans to support Hyebin, Yeonwoo, Jane, Nayoon, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy on their new journey.
It is unclear if the members will promote as a group following their departure from MLD Entertainment.
MOMOLAND debut
MOMOLAND was formed through the 2016 survival show ‘Finding MOMOLAND’. Momoland was originally imagined as a seven-member group before adding Taeha and Daisy to the group’s nine-member line-up in early 2017. But the two members left two years later. Yeonwoo also departed the same year.
The group kicked off its world tour, ‘Momoland Live in Concert’, in the UAE in 2019, before heading to the Philippines, Vietnam, South America, and the US. It is known for hit songs such as ‘Bboom Bboom’ and ‘Baam.’
