South Korean actors Park Hyung-sik, Park Seo-joon, and Choi Woo-shik are reportedly in Dubai as part of a collaboration with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET).
The trio, who are close friends and members of the well-known celebrity group Wooga Squad, have been selected to participate in Dubai Tourism’s global campaign, ‘Dubai Friends,’ due to their global popularity, according to South Korean tech giant Naver.
A video shared by Seo-joon’s fan account on Instagram captured the actors at Dubai airport arriving in the city on February 24.
Dubai Tourism campaign
DET’s latest campaign aims to showcase Dubai’s unique blend of culture, luxury, and adventure to a global audience.
The trio is known for their immense popularity in the entertainment industry, making them ideal representatives for the initiative. Their involvement is expected to attract significant international attention, particularly from Hallyu (Korean Wave) fans.
Hyung-sik’s participation will mark his second time filming for Dubai Tourism. Last year, the actor was featured alongside Park Shin-hye for the ‘Dubai, Who’s Ready‘ campaign, following the popularity of JTBC’s ‘Doctor Slump’. The two videos showcased the city’s various landmarks and cultural sites, such as Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood and Atlantis The Royal. Both videos have garnered 797,00 views on YouTube.
What’s next for the trio in Dubai?
During their stay, the actors are expected to engage in promotional events, explore the city’s attractions, and take part in other activities. Hyung-sik was seen on X, formerly Twitter, visiting Korea360 in Dubai Festival City Mall.
As anticipation continues to build, fans are eager to see what surprises the Wooga Squad members have in store. Their Dubai adventure is not just a tourism campaign but also a celebration of friendship and global connections.

Hyung-sik is currently starring in SBS’s new Friday-Saturday drama ‘Treasure Island.’
