BTS’ holiday remix of ‘Butter’ charted high on the UAE iTunes chart following its release.
The carol pop genre track climbed high on the all-genre, pop and K-Pop chart on the platform.
On Friday, BTS shared the remix to express their gratitude for the enthusiastic support and love from their fans, ARMYs. It was also released a day after the act’s last concert for their ‘BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LA’ — the group’s first in-person concerts in two years amid the COVID-19 pandemic — at SoFi Stadium.
Released in May, their Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 smash was dubbed 2021’s song of the summer. It also earned the septet ‘Artist of the Year’ award at the 2021 American Music Awards, second Grammy nomination, among other awards. A remix featuring rapper Megan Thee Stallion was also dropped.
The remixed musical release has garnered over 2 million views on YouTube as of today.
