GALAXY Corporation, the AI entertainment-technology company that’s the music label and management home to K-pop veteran G-DRAGON, has become the first Korean entertainment company to establish a Middle East presence in the UAE.

Backed by engagement with the National Media Authority, the expansion aligns with the nation’s vision to lead in AI-powered media and next-generation content development. Operating across content, intellectual property, and technology, GALAXY’s entry reinforces the UAE’s position as a hub for advanced technologies and creative industries.
“As a global enter‑tech company operating at the intersection of K‑content, K‑pop, and advanced technologies such as AI and robotics, we see the UAE as a compelling environment for innovation and growth, said Cho Sung-hae, CEO of GALAXY ME and co-founder of GALAXY Corporation, in a statement. “The UAE has already achieved remarkable progress as a global hub, and we believe it has strong potential to play an increasingly important role in the evolution of enter‑tech industries.”
In Dubai, Cho met with Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, to discuss potential cooperation in digital media and advanced technologies.
The meeting focused on opportunities to collaborate in artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and interactive content, as well as prospects for strategic partnerships that support Dubai’s vision of an innovation-driven creative economy.
Sheikh Ahmed reaffirmed Dubai’s commitment to partnering with global technology and media companies, strengthening its international competitiveness. He highlighted the emirate’s rapid push to become a hub for content creation through emerging technologies, particularly AI, noting that strong industry partnerships are key to driving innovation and advancing the media and entertainment sector.
Discussions also explored potential collaboration in AI-driven content development, talent growth, and knowledge exchange, further strengthening Dubai’s innovation ecosystem and its appeal to global enterprises.
Regional entertainment push
Notably, earlier this year, G-DRAGON headlined the Krazy Super Concert in Dubai, marking its Middle East debut and reinforcing GALAXY Corporation’s growing regional presence.
It aligns with wider industry momentum, as companies such as BIGC and Bauer Lab advance plans to build a regional K-pop digital performance ecosystem.
