Girls’ Generation Seo Hyun and Lee Jun-young are all set up to star alongside each other on new Korean romance film ‘Moral Sense(WT)’.
Directed by Park Hyun-jin, the Netflix original is based on the popular webtoon of the same name on a different kind of romance between a man and a woman who engages in a “special” relationship with her co-worker after she accidentally stumbles upon his secret.
‘Moral Sense(WT)’ will be her first role in a movie. She recently played a shapeshifting swindler in the k-drama ‘Private Lives’.
The male lead in the “cheerful and provocative romance film” will be played by the U-Kiss member as Jung Ji-hoo, a man with unusual tastes, adored by his female co-workers, hide his secret and unique taste.
After becoming a member of prominent group Girls’ Generation in 2007, Seo Hyun pursued acting and landed roles in dramas such as ‘Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo’, and ‘Bad Thief, Good Thief’.
After 10 years signed under management company SM Entertainment, Seohyun decided not to renew her contract and decided to focus on her acting career. Following her departure, she starred in MBC drama ‘Time’, for which she received praised for her role.
In 2019, she signed an exclusive contract with new agency Namoo Actors, home to well-established actors such as Ji Sung, Lee Jun Ki, Moon Geun Young, Park Min Young.
