Korean crime thriller ‘Karma’ debuted at number 5 on Netflix’s non-English TV chart with 3.6 million views for the week ending April 6, the streaming service revealed.
Global, regional performance
The six-episode series, which premiered on April 4, charted in the top 10 in TV shows in 37 countries, of which includes Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, and the UAE, during the March 31 and April 6, 2025, viewing window.
‘Karma’ also registered 19.3 million hours of viewing time globally.

Top 10 popular titles
This week’s top spot on the non-English TV chart went to the critically acclaimed Korean slice-of-life romance ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines’ starring IU and Park Bo-gum, with 5.4 million views for the week. It has spent five weeks in the top 10. ‘Weak Hero Class 1,’ based on a webtoon and starring Park Ji-hoon, Choi Hyun-wook, and Hong Kyung, dropped down two spots in its second week on the chart to land fourth with 3.7 million views, Netflix’s weekly top 10 tally further revealed.
British series ‘Adolescence’ remained at the top of the English TV list with 17.8 million views — and has already climbed to number 4 on the Most Popular English TV list, up five spots compared to last week.
As for the English film list, Sofia Carson’s ‘The Life List’ remained atop the weekly list for the second consecutive week, amassing 29.2 million views between March 31 and April 6. ‘Promised Hearts’ from Indonesia took the number one spot on the non-English-language movies list.

Helmed by Kim Il-hyung—renowned for ‘A Violent Prosecutor’ (2016) and ‘Remember’ (2022)—the Netflix Korean original series follows a troubled man, known only as the Debtor, as his fate becomes entangled with ruthless criminals and unsuspecting bystanders. The series unravels a twisted web of bad decisions and dark connections among six seemingly unrelated individuals.
‘Karma’, based on the webtoon of the same, features a star-studded cast, including Park Hae-soo, Shin Min-a, Lee Hee-jun, Gong Seung-yeon, and Lee Kwang-soo.
