MIRAE’s Lien will be taking a 2-week hiatus to receive treatment for vocal cord nodules.

Temporary hiatus

The K-Pop boy band’s agency DSP Media released a statement, announcing his diagnosis and temporary hiatus.

“After a long discussion with the agency, [Lien] decided to receive treatment following the conclusion of [MIRAE’s] Japanese promotions and after a treatment period of about two weeks, he will rest with his family and return with a healthy image,” DSP Media said.

DSP rookies

MIRAE ― which means “future” in Korean ―will promote as a six-member group while Lien receives treatment.

DSP Media rookie group burst onto the K-Pop scene in 2021 with its first EP ‘Killa.’ MIRAE recently dropped its fourth mini album ‘Ourturn’ and is set to drop its special single ‘Snow Prince,’ a remake of senior SS501’s 2005 track of the same name.
