The second season of reality survival series ‘Physical: 100’ has muscled its way atop Netflix’s weekly chart for non-English TV series following its release on the streaming service.
Regional performance
The South Korean show, which brought together 100 contestants in tip-top physical shape, garnered 6.1 million views during the March 18 – 24, 2024, viewing period.
‘Physical: 100: Season 2’ reached the top 10 in 87 countries Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, Kuwait, Morocco, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. The nine-episode series took the number one spot in Singapore and South Korea, Netflix revealed in its latest weekly global top 10 tally.
The second season of the Netflix survival game show pulled in 25.3 million hours of viewing time from its release time to March 24, 2024.
‘Chicken Nugget’ also debuted on Netflix’s non-English TV list, coming in 10th with 1.3 million views. Two other Korean series were include ‘Queen of Tears’ (4.2 million views) and ‘Doctor Slump’ (1.7 million views).
Top 10 global ranks
Lindsay Lohan’s romantic comedy ‘Irish Wish’ debuted on the top with 25.5 million views, making it the most-watched English-language title of the week. As for TV, Guy Ritchie’s aristocratic gangster series ‘The Gentlemen’ continued its winning streak, garenering 11.7 million of viewing time.
French comedy ‘Cat & Dog’ headed to the top spot on the Non-English films list with 6.7 million views during the week.
