Park Bo-gum and IU’s series ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines’ landed fourth on Netflix’s global non-English TV chart with 3.6 million views, the streaming platform revealed in its weekly top 10 tally between March 3 and 9, 2025.

‘When Life Gives You Tangerines’ ranked in the top 10 TV list in 24 countries, including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. It was the most-watched title in South Korea, Indonesia, and Hong Kong.

Another South Korean series, ‘The Potato Lab,’ debuted on Netflix’s top 10 weekly chart during the viewing window period. Starring Lee Sun-bin and Kang Tae-oh, it ranked ninth with 1.9 million views and 9.3 million hours of viewing time.

‘When Life Gives You Tangerines’ is a romance series set on Jeju Island in the 1960s, following the enduring love story of Gwan-sik, a dependable man, and Ae-sun, a gifted but troubled woman. Despite facing opposition from Gwan-sik’s family and Ae-sun’s personal struggles, their love persists over decades. Spanning 50 years and multiple locations in South Korea, the 16-episode drama is created by Kim Won-suk (My Mister) and Lim Sang-choon (When the Camellia Blooms).
