Loco is getting married!
The 32-year-old R&B singer announced in an Instagram post that he is tying the knot with his childhood friend after two years together.
“I met her as a friend right after I got discharged from military service [in 2020]. I don’t know why but my heart suddenly fluttered the whole time I spent time with her and our relationship quickly developed into more than friends,” he wrote.
Loco shared that his fiancée is referenced as “soy latte” in his lyrics, adding that she’s been a great inspiration for him over the years.
He further added that the wedding will be held this fall among close family and friends amid the ongoing COVID-19 situation and confirmed that there won’t be any changes in music releases and concerts for this year.
His announcement comes after he performed at Hyperound K-Fest Abu Dhabi last weekend.
Fellow artists like GOT7’s Yugyeom, Dynamic Duo’s Gaeko, and rapper GRAY congratulated him.
Loco — which loosely translates to crazy’ in Spanish — shot to fame back in 2012 after winning the rap competition show ‘Show Me the Money.’ The South Korean singer and rapper is signed under hip hop label AOMG founded by Jay Park.
His hits include ‘You Don’t Know,’ ‘Don’t’ (featuring MAMAMOO’s Hwa Sa), and ‘Hold Me Tight’ (featuring. Crush). He recently dropped collaboration single ‘Somebody’ with the K-Pop singer.
