South Korean medical drama ‘The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call’ debuted third place on Netflix’s top 10 non-English film list with 4.7 million views, the streaming behemoth revealed in its weekly top 10 tally between January 20 and 23, 2025.
Debut performance
The Netflix original series was in the top 10 TV list in 26 countries. Regionally, it was charting in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. It was also most-watched title in South Korea, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Furthermore, it registered 32.6 million hours of viewing time globally.
It’s debut performance led it to became the third most-watched non-English TV show globally during the viewing period. The second season of ‘Squid Game’ continued its winning streak as the non-English language TV show on the chart for the fifth consecutive week with 7.9 million views, while the first season secured the sixth spot with 3.1 million views.

Based on the webtoon Trauma Center: Golden Hour by Hansanleega and Hongbichira, ‘The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call’ follows a hot-shot doctor and his dedicated trauma unit as they save lives and fight the system and establish a top-tier trauma center in South Korea. It stars Ju Ji-hoon, Choo Young-woo, and Ha Young, and is from director Lee Do-yun and writer Choi Tae-gang.
