Three Korean dramas made its debut globally on Netflix’s top 10 weekly viewership list.
‘Juvenile Justice,’ ‘Twenty Five Twenty One’, and ‘Forecasting Love and Weather’ made its entry on the non-english TV list for the February 21 – February 27 week, with 17.41 million, 11.85 million and 11.02 million hours viewed, respectively.
Starring seasoned actress Kim Hye-soo, legal drama ‘Juvenile Justice’ is ranked in the top 10 in TV in 9 countries on Netflix.
Coming-of-age romance drama ‘Twenty Five Twenty One,’ starring Kim Tae-ri, Nam Joo-hyuk and Bona, was in the top 10 in countries, such as Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
‘Forecasting Love and Weather’ delves into the private and professional lives of weather forecasters at the Korea Meteorological Administration. The series in the top 10 in TV in 14 countries, that includes the UAE.
With 38.86 million hours viewed, ‘All of Us Are Dead’ remained atop the non-English TV list after five weeks. The Korean thriller is in the top 10 within the region, including Egypt, Morocco, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the UAE.
Tyler Perry’s ‘A Madea Homecoming ‘ topped the English film list with 31.56 million hours viewed. French thriller ‘Restless’ entered the non-English film list with 19.81 million hours viewed while ‘Inventing Anna’ topped the English TV list for the third consecutive week, making it the most watched title for the second week in a row.
