“We apologize for the unavoidable delay in ticket opening and performance cancellation due to local circumstances. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to fans who have been waiting for the performance,” Have Fun Together said in a statment.
The SUPER JUNIOR subunit, comprising of members Donghae and Hunhyuk, was set to perform on December 8 at The Agenda as part of its 2023 ‘DElight Party’ world tour.
The duo kicked off their 2023 world tour in South Korea in June, before flying out to Taiwan, China, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam. SUPER JUNIOR-D&E’s Dubai concert, which was initially for November 11 but was rescheduled, was also set to be their first in the emirate.
Regional performances
SUPER Junior members have previously visited the UAE.
In 2020, SUPER Junior-D&E is confirmed to perform at the Azimuth Music Festival in Saudi Arabia early next month. Donghae and Eunhyuk and their bandmates took their ‘Super Show 7S’ concert to Jeddah at King Abdullah Sports City the year before. The high demand for the K-pop band’s Saudi Arabia debut concert caused tickets to sell out within a reported three hours after they were made available and eventually saw the website temporarily crash. The band also performed at SMTown Live World Tour VI in Dubai in 2018.
In 2021, members Eunhyuk and Kyuhyun were in Dubai as part of The Pointe’s first Korean Festival in Palm Jumeirah.
