Romantic K-drama ‘Boyfriend on Demand,’ starring BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, debuted at number four on Netflix’s non-English TV chart for the March 2–8, 2026, viewing period, accumulating 2.6 million views and 25.6 million hours watched worldwide.

The 10-episode limited series also ranked in the top 10 across 34 countries, including Oman, Qatar, and the UAE.

‘Boyfriend on Demand’ follows Seo Mi-rae (Jisoo), an overworked webtoon producer whose life leaves little room for romance. When she discovers a virtual-dating subscription service offering fantastical, immersive experiences, she finds herself swept up in a series of perfect fantasy dates — from falling for a secret agent to romancing a royal in the Joseon era. Meanwhile, her real-life interactions with surly producer Park Kyeong-nam (Seo In-guk) hint at a love that might be just as rewarding as the virtual sparks.

“’Boyfriend on Demand’ is a story about the personal growth of Mi-rae, who longs for love and the dopamine rush it brings, but finds dating challenging,” Jisoo told Netflix. “It is a bubbly romantic comedy [that] will be a particularly delightful treat for anyone who feels worn down by the monotony of the daily grind.”

The rom-com series also features Yoo In-na, Ha Young, Seo Kang-jun, Lee Soo-hyuk, Ong Seong-wu, Lee Jae-wook, Lee Hyun-wook, Jay Park, Kim Young-dae, and Lee Sang-yi, who bring to life Seo’s many virtual boyfriends across her adventures.

Elsewhere on the chart, Korean series ‘The Art of Sarah’ fell from first place to sixth with 2.1 million views, while ‘Still Shining’ debuted in eighth place with 1.5 million views globally. ‘Undercover Miss Hong’ also landed in ninth place with 900,000 views.
