DINO, from K-pop boy group SEVENTEEN, gave fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at his highly anticipated solo performance at the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025 Opening Ceremony in a new YouTube video.
Behind the scenes with DINO
The clip offers an intimate look at DINO’s meticulous preparation, including vocal coaching, choreography practice, and outfit fittings for his solo stage.
On July 10, DINO — alongside rapper, singer, and producer Duckwrth and Telle Smith of American metalcore band The Word Alive — debuted the tournament’s official track, ‘Til My Fingers Bleed,’ in Saudi Arabia.
“I’m not usually that involved when it comes to gaming, but I’m not going there to play games. I’m going there to perform. So I’m very excited about it. It’s going to be my first time traveling overseas to perform alone, so I’m nervous and taking it seriously,” he said in the video.
The high-energy, cross-cultural anthem marked his first collaboration as a solo artist — and the first time a K-pop artist performed at the event. He shared that he wants to leave a good impression and is looking forward to putting on a fun stage that’s different from both his group and solo performances.
During the day of the performance, DINO said backstage: I heard that so many more CARAT [SEVENTEEN’s fanclub] showed up than expected, and it made me feel so happy and excited. As long as I have CARAT, I feel energized, no matter what the stage. Though it’s my first time performing here, thinking about CARAT being here makes me feel so much more confident.”
