DSP Media has announced that KARD will conclude its group activities after nine years, following the release of its first full-length album ”Where To Now? (Part.2): NOWHERE’ and a final world tour.

“After careful and thoughtful discussions with all four members, we have mutually agreed that this album and tour will mark the conclusion of KARD’s journey as a group,” DSPmedia said in an official statement

DSPmedia expressed gratitude to fans, known as HIDDEN KARD, for their long-standing support of the group, and also asked them to continue encouraging BM, J.seph, SOMIN, and JIWOO as they embark on the next chapter of their individual journeys.

“The members have poured their hearts into preparing this album and tour, and we sincerely hope these final activities will become cherished memories for HIDDEN KARD,” it said. “We kindly ask for your continued love and support until the very end as KARD shares one final chapter with you in the way only they can.”

KARD debuted in July 2017 following a 2016 pre-debut project built around a rotating “card” concept. The quartet is one of the more distinctive groups in K-pop, featuring both male and female members—a format that remains relatively uncommon in the industry.

Musically, KARD is known for a Latin-influenced pop and dance style, often blending tropical house, EDM, reggaeton, and hip-hop, heard in songs like ‘Don’t Recall,’ ‘Rumor,’ ‘Oh NaNa,’ and ‘ICKY.’

The co-ed group previously performed in Dubai in May 2024 at an event hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Tourism Organization.

KARD’s album is scheduled for release on July 28 and will be followed by a tour, with more details to be announced at a later date.
