Filipino boy band SB19 is set to return to Dubai on October 11 for a performance at the Coca-Cola Arena, marking another major stop on their ongoing ‘Simula at Wakas’ world tour.
Dubai show
This upcoming concert represents the quintet’s third tour stop in Dubai, following previous performances during their ‘WYAT’ tour in 2022 and ‘PAGTATAG!’ tour in 2024. SB19, composed of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin, made their Dubai debut at Expo 2020 Dubai in March 2022.
SB19 kicked off their world tour in the Philippines before heading to Taiwan. The tour includes stops across Asia, North America, and the Middle East, showcasing the group’s growing international appeal and influence.
The band is also expected to perform in Doha, Riyadh, and Jeddah, though tour dates for these stops have yet to be announced.
SB19 up close
SB19, formed in 2018, has become a defining force in Pinoy-pop’s rise on the global stage and among Southeast Asia’s most influential music acts. The five-member act’s debut single ‘Tilaluha’ showed promise, but the viral ‘Go Up’ (2019) propelled them into the spotlight.
Since 2023, the band has operated under its own label, 1Z Entertainment.
SB19 made history as the first Southeast Asian act nominated at the Billboard Music Awards and the first Filipino group to top the Billboard Social 50.
The Filipino-pop group has a Netflix documentary, ‘SB19: Where You At,’ which offers an intimate look into the boy band’s rise to fame, showcasing their hard work, personal struggles, and the passion that fuels their success.
